Bubble Nebula

The fascinating Bubble Nebula is being blown out by the stellar wind of the massive central star, a star 40 times more massive than our Sun. This stellar bubble is enormous, at ten light years across the bubble could easily swallow up our solar system including our neighbouring star Alpha Centauri! Surrounding it is a huge molecular cloud which is trying to restrict the growth of the bubble but which itself is getting blasted by the central star. The bubble is still growing at 4 million miles per hour. This incredible nebula can be seen with a small telescope towards the constellation of Cassiopeia.
